He was the designated driver which meant he had the unenviable task of putting up with us 6 drunks. I was sitting by the window and feeling a bit devilish. So about half way home, without a word, I crawled out through window, climbed up on the roof and leaned against the cap of the pickup. Dave kept on driving because he's a nut too. A couple of seconds later I saw somebody's head poking out through the window. This was Randy looking up at me. I said "C'mon up" and a minute later both of us were sitting on top of the pickup, driving home about 50 kilometers an hour, arms in the air yelling. That would have be a good time for the cops to drive past - but they didn't. Dave stopped by our houses and we jumped down off the roof of the truck, thanked him for the ride and said "See ya tomorrow". |
