Funny Stories ›› Funny drunk stories ›› funny drunk stories 222 Jay Walking It was a Friday night and we were sitting around having a few drinks and a few puffs after a hard week of sitting around drinking and puffing. Around 11 o'clock me and Dave and one his friends got ready to go downtown and check out the nightlife. It was only about a mile away so we decided to walk. Since we'd been dinking all night and were probably a bit bolder than normal, we took a few beer each to drink along the way - something that is highly illegal around here. About halfway along we stopped and lit up another jay - also highly illegal.
Then out of nowhere a car comes up behind us and out jumps a cop. I happened to be the one holding the joint at the time so I dropped it down in my beer. The cop takes all the beer and pours them out on sidewalk and out of mine comes this inch and a half long jay - but he didn't see it. He starts ranting and raving about drinking in public, raking us over the coals for breaking the law. All the while he's stepping back and forth over the joint and not noticing it. We're looking at each other and don't know whether to laugh or run. Then he stands up on the joint. He finally says he's going to let us off with a warning and he'd better not see us again. Then he drives off - with a joint stuck to the bottom of his shoe. |
